We may eat the healthiest diet and practice every kind of fitness regime to keep our body healthy, but if our digestive system is weak, then all our efforts to build a stronger body goes in waste. Stomach is a small part of body but it’s actually the most important source of strength. With wrong eating habits, irregular lifestyle and pollution, our whole body gets weaker in passing time. If, one intakes proper food that builds the strength and immunity power of body, then it’s unlikely that your digestion will become weak ever.

High-Fiber Foods:

Fibers is the most essential thing if you want a good digestive system in your body. Dietary fiber when consumed passes through your body undigested whereas the soluble fiber dissolves and increases the healthy cholesterol levels. The insoluble fiber increases the stool bulk and removes all the undigested waste from body through digestive track. Animal based food don’t contain fiber, so its best to include, vegetables, fruits, grains, lentils and nuts in your daily diet. One should always avoid process foods which claim to contain fiber. It’s always best to eat healthy than to consume processed food.

Water Contain Food:

Similar like fiber, water is also very much necessary to have a healthy body. Water is a natural way to cleanse your body on daily basis. We might forget to drink 8 glass of water a day but we can actually consume the same amount of water by eating fruits and vegetables. Also, fiver won’t work properly in body even if you eat right. Melon, orange, berries, tomatoes, eggplants, leafy greens, radishes, cucumbers, and zucchini. The water based food will hydrate your body from inside, keep your digestive system clean and healthy.

Probiotic Foods:

Cultured or slightly fermented food contains enzymes that keep your gut healthy. Also, consuming probiotic foods in balanced manner on daily basis keep your digestive track. This will help body absorb necessary nutrients in the body which will eventually increase the immunity. The best probiotic food you can intake on daily basis is yoghurt. It’s best to consume fresh yoghurt rather the flavored or frozen as the probiotic enzymes are very less in them.

Herbs and Spices:

We all know that certain herbs and spices actually boost your immunity, cure disease like cough or cold, fight infection and improve digestion. These herbs and spices are easy to use in cooking and they give great flavor to the food. For example, ginger stimulates saliva when consumed but it’s also useful in reducing nausea and works as medicine for upset stomach. Cumin is also one of the great spice which reduces heartburn and controls digestive acid in body. If you have gastrointestinal discomfort, then spice like cinnamon should be consumed to get instant relief from excessive gas from body. Also, one can use spices like sage, thyme, black pepper, horseradish, oregano, and cardamom in cooking to make the digestive system healthier.

Eating good food is important but eating right food will be much wiser choice if you want a strong stomach and even stronger digestive system. Remember if your stomach is stronger and so is the digestive system, your body will be able to absorb the nutrients easily to make your body healthy.
